WIRED! Network Guidelines
WIRED! Network is a community for gamers, movie-goers, and hardcore music fans. In order to ensure that the community remains safe and fun for everyone, all members of the community must follow these guidelines:

The Guidelines

1. NO FLAMING! Flaming, by definition, is the act of using insulting criticism or remark meant to incite anger, as on a computer network. Flaming will not be tolerated on the WIRED! Network.

2. SPAMMING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AT ANY TIME!!! The only advertising that will be permitted is one link to another website in the signature of the board member. Posting of advertising to another website or community will be treated as a bannable offense.

3. STAY ON TOPIC! The WIRED! Network Forums are split into several different categories, forums, and posts. Please keep all conversations on topic, whether it be in a forum or a post. Going off topic in a post or forum is subject to disciplinary action.

Failure to follow the WIRED! Network Guidelines will result in disciplinary action.

Disciplinary Action Schedule

1. WRITTEN WARNING. Failure to follow guidelines as described on this page will result in an email with a warning from an administrator, describing future consequences for further action.

2. ONE-WEEK BAN. After a written warning is issued to the board member(s), a one-week ban will be instated on the member. During that time, the IP Address of the board member will be blocked for one week, or until a board administrator clears the ban to be lifted.

3. MEMBER BAN. After a one-week ban and the written warning are not effective, the board member will be permanently banned from the network. This will not stop the board member from re-registering, however, the member will lose their post count and all other member benefits.

4. IP BAN. If all continues, the member will have their IP banned from the WIRED! Network Forums for anytime of six months to a year to permanently banned.
